We would like to wish all of our 2011 customers a very happy New Year, and look forward to seeing you again in 2012. 2011 was a very busy year for us, with the Christmas period fully booked by early October (we could have filled a cattery twice the size), and bookings for 2012 are already growing steadily. If you want to be sure of booking a room for your cat(s) when you go on holiday this year, please book early.
Thinking of paying by Cheque?
Due to the withdrawal of the cheque guarantee card and the cost of bank charges, we regret that we can no longer accept cheques for under £50.
Collection and Delivery
Because we are now so busy, we are sorry but we are no longer able to offer collection and delivery as a standard service.

Situated only a 1/2 mile from the A30 at Patteson's Cross, the Fairmile Cat Hotel is 1 mile north of Ottery St. Mary, 5 miles west of Honiton and only 12 miles east of Exeter. So if you are looking for a cattery in Sidmouth or a cattery in Budleigh Salterton, we could be just what you would like to give your cat a great holiday. Some of our customers recognise the quality of care we provide and came to us in preference, say, to a cattery in Lyme Regis or a cattery in Axminster. Our catchment area also includes Seaton, Chard, Ilminster, Talaton, Feniton, Bluehayes, Whimple, Farringdon, Woodbury Salterton, Cowley, Pinhoe, Whipton, Broadclyst, Sowton, Heavitree, Brampford Speke, Offwell, Alfington and Cullompton.

A luxury boarding cattery in beautiful rural East Devon, near Ottery St. Mary
Just off the A30 between Exeter and Honiton
When I was looking to move on from running a pet food company - and to move to a rural area which had been our lifelong ambition - what better than a cattery, we thought. And as a lifelong cat lover and owner it seemed only natural to want to provide cats with the best possible holiday experience.
Many months later after a search for an existing home and cattery for sale to our exacting standards, we settled on buying a property and building our own cattery to the highest quality we could. So was born Fairmile Cat Hotel!
Right from the start we decided that we would offer a combination of luxury rooms and high-quality care, with the aim that cats enjoy their stay, come home relaxed, healthy and looking good, and allowing their owners to enjoy their own holiday in the knowledge that their cat is enjoying theirs.
Planned carefully, we have a range of 20 double units built in an "L" shape overlooking a tranquil bird garden with plants and shrubs to attract bees and butterflies, and a large water feature and numerous feeders to attract birds of which we have a wonderful variety. Being quite high up it also boasts a wonderful view through the lattice fencing over fields and hills down towards the coast. Plenty there for the cats to watch while curled up comfortably on their chair!
We are aiming to provide a really first class "hotel" for your cat with all their needs met and we invite you to explore our web-site and see for yourself just how different we are from many other catteries in what we provide and offer. Nothing, however, compares to seeing it with your own eyes first and visitors are always welcome during opening hours - or if that is paryicularly difficult for you, by prior arrangement. Naturally some times are inconvenient for calling as the actual looking after of the cats comes first with us!
